Tuesday night the Lady Shiner Volleyball teams traveled to Seymour to play Trinity Lutheran.  The JV was downed by the Lady Cougars: 25-5, 25-11. Fall Sports Contests to Start This Week

The Shiner volleyball squad will get the 2016-17 Rising Sun sports season started on Thursday, August 11th as they travel to South Ripley for a scrimmage. The scrimmage was originally scheduled to start at 6 PM, but has been moved up to 5:30 PM as South Ripley is starting all of their home volleyball matches

Rising Sun HS revamps Gymnasium floor through grant

Volleyball Team Falls Short in Sectional Championship

The varsity volleyball team faced Oldenburg Saturday morning. It was a battle back and forth the entire game. The Shiners pulled out a victory after five sets: 25-15, 18-25, 25-21, 29-31, 15-8. 1st Round Volleyball Sectional Win

The Shiner volleyball team faced Southwestern (Shelbyville) in their first round of sectional play. They defeated them in five sets: 25-16, 22-25, 25-16, 23-25, 15-10. The team finished the game with 41 kills, 9 blocks, 80 digs, and 10 aces. A big thanks goes to the parents, fans, and student body for the incredible turnout

Volleyball Team Wins Invitational
