Levi Finishes Outstanding Cross Country Career at Semi-State

Saturday was a solid day for Rising Sun Cross Country at the IHSAA Cross Country Sectional at South Dearborn HS. Trevor Levi became the 5th boys cross country Sectional Champion at RSHS.  With a time of 17:00.4, Levi won the sectional by 5 seconds over the next competitor. Shiner Boys 2nd, Girls 6th

The Rising Sun cross country teams competed in the ORVC meet held at Hanover College on Saturday, September 30th. The boys finished 2nd as Trevor Levi led the way by winning the race with a time of 16:45.4. Nick Koons and Dalton Vinup also made the All-ORVC team as they finished 11th and 12th respectively.

Boys 3rd and Girls 7th at South Dearborn CC Invite

The Shiner boys finished 3rd behind Williamstown (KY) and Southwestern (Hanover). Trevor Levi finished 2nd behind Southwestern’s Bradley Winston. Other Shiner finishers were: Nick Koons 20th, Dalton Vinup 22nd, Noah Pflum 26th, Jake Powell 37th, Peyton Bell 40th, and Daniel Daugherty 50th. Cross Country Results at Pre-ORVC and JCD Invite

The Shiner cross country team ran in the Pre-ORVC meet at Hanover College, site of the ORVC meet on September 30th, last Thursday. The boys finished 3rd and the girls finished 5th.
