Lady Shiners are SB Regional Champs! Again!

Boy’s Track Regional Results

At last night Boy’s Regional track meet at Connersville, the Rising Sun Boy’s team finished 13th. Austin Martin finished 7th in the 110 hurdles and 2nd in High Jump. Rising Sun High School athletic banquet is scheduled for Tuesday, June 10 beginning at 6:00pm in the RSHS Cafeteria. Reservations are due by Wednesday, June 4. As the regular season winds down and sectional time approaches, the Shiner golfers placed 1st on their home turf by defeating Milan, Switzerland County and South Ripley. Rising Sun Girl’s Track Regional Results

C Congratulations to Mackenzie Scott finishing 9th out of 16 girls in the 1600m run. Also, Whitney Chipman finished in 7th place in shot put and 8th place in discus. Her discus throw of 112-01 is a new school record.

Shiners Say No No to Cougars

Regular Season Comes to a Close

On Sat. the Shiners traveled to Mt. Vernon High School (Fortville)  to play in a tournament to prep for the post season.  They benefitted from  oustanding pitching and played error free defense, but came away with a pair of 2-0 losses.  read the story at:

Golfers Successfully Defend Conference Title

The Shiner golfers came home with some more hardware as they distanced themselves from the rest of the field to claim the ORVC title for the 2nd year in a row. The tournament was held at the Vineyard Golf Course in Quercus Grove. Teams scores were: 1. Rising Sun 337 2. Milan 358 3. Jac-Cen-Del
