Rising Sun Track and Field first home meet of the season

Last night Rising Sun Track and field hosted a meet featuring Shaw Memorial, South Ripley, and Oldenburg Academy. The weather was perfect and fans were actively cheering on the home team. RS Track & Field at Madison Invitational

Last night, April 9th, RSHS track traveled to Madison Consolidated High School to compete in their invitational. Teams featured in the event were Madison, Scottsburg, Shawe Memorial, and Rising Sun. In the field events Rising Sun athletes saw many personal bests. In Discus freshman Brogan Radcliff and sophmore Dalton Cutter both placed in the event

Shiners start conference play with 4-0 victory

Rising Sun varsity baseball started conference play Monday night with a 4-0 victory against Southwestern. Braydon Bush and Landon Cole combined to throw a 1 hitter with 13 k’s. The offense got production throughout the lineup. Johnathan Jiminez collected three hits and Jacob Bovard added two. The Shiners are back in conference action on Friday
