Shiner Boys Defeat Tigers for First Time in 13 Years

Rising Sun earned their first win over Lawrenceburg in a nail biter 69-68 on Saturday in boys varsity basketball  since the Shiners defeated the Tigers 65-59 in the opening round of the 2005 Rivertown Classic.  The game came down to the last possession as Lawrenceburg missed a shot and a rebound opportunity as time expired.

On Wednesday night, January 31st,  the Lady Shiners battled Waldron in sectional action.  Earlier in the season, Rising Sun edged out a win against Waldron 40 to 38.  This time around, the Lady Shiners had to play them on their home floor.  The first quarter saw the Lady Shiners get off to a great start. 

Levi Set To Run at the Mount Next Year

Boys Sweep the Weekend
