The Rising Sun High School Athletic Department recognized all teams, players and coaches last night at the school’s annual year end sports banquet. For the first time since 2012, Rising Sun did not win the ORVC golf championship. The Shiners won the ORVC in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. The Lady Shiners’ softball season came to an end Monday falling 5-0 to North Decatur in the first round of IHSAA Sectional 60. Back on May 5, Rising Sun defeated the Lady Chargers 11-1 in five innings. “The first meeting with North was a game played in the rain and we benefited from 13 walks,”
