North Decatur Drops Lady Shiners in the Rain 8-7

Rising Sun lost a squeaker at North Decatur 8-7 on Saturday. Kassidy Romans was 2-3 with 1 run and 1 RBI. Abby Wallace added 1 run and 2 RBI. Lindsay Montgomery had a double and 3 RBI. Cora Poling went 2-4 with a double.  Cora Poling started the game pitching one third of an inning,

Lady Shiners Roll at Jac-Cen-Del 23-0

The Shiner bats roared to life Monday at Jac-Cen-Del with 18 hits including 5 doubles and 1 triple, only 3 Ks and 1 error.  Sydney Bostic led the way going 3-3 with 2 runs scored, 2 doubles and 6 RBI.  Kassidy Romans was 3-4 with 4 runs and 3 RBI and Abby Wallace went 3-4

Shiner Softball and Baseball Move Up To 4th In The Polls

The Shiner softball and baseball teams have both moved up in their respected polls this week. The Lady Shiners are currently 13-1 overall and 7-0 in the ORVC. RSHS Track and Field particpated in SD Invite

Rising Sun Track athletes participated in the South Dearborn Invitational. The Invite consisted of 11 teams: Franklin County, William Henry Harrison (OH), South Dearborn, Switzerland County, Lawrenceburg, South Ripley, Cooper (KY), Oldenburg Academy, South Western Hanover, Batesville, and Rising Sun. Lady Shiners Beat the Batesville Bulldogs 7-1

Rising Sun improved to 10-0 against Batesville on Thursday. The Shiners were led by Sydney Pitts pitching 7 innings with 7 Ks and 1 Walk in the win. We had 10 hits and made no errors. Sydney Bostic, Kassidy Romans, and Sydney Pitts had doubles. Cora Poling and Emma Levi adding 2 hits each along
