Shiner Basketball Teams to Play in Holiday Tourneys

The Rising Sun boys and girls basketball teams will once again participate in tournaments over the holiday break.  The Lady Shiners will play in the Speedway Holiday Tourney for the third consecutive year on Thursday, December 28th.  The 3-8 Lady Shiners will face the 3-8 Indiana Deaf Hoosiers in the second game at approximately 11am. 

Boys Split Weekend Games

Lady Shiners basketball traveled to Milan

Shiners Continue to Rule the River

              The Rising Sun boys basketball team continued the streak that the Lady Shiners started with their back-to-back wins over Switzerland County as the boys defeated the Pacers at Switzerland County 62-55.  The win marked the team’s first win at Switzerland County since December 29, 2005.  Brent Turner 15 points and 11 rebounds

Shiner C Team Wins Big Over Pacers

The Shiner C team picked up a big victory over Switzerland County last night 67-26 in a game that saw all Shiner players score including this 3 point shot shown below by Timmy Cutter!

Rising Sun Lady Shiners battle Oldenburg
