Rising Sun Boys Cross Country runners, Claudio Gallegos and Matt Yocum, were honored at the ORVC Fall Awards Banquet in Madison on Mon., Oct. 28th. Briar Miller was also ORVC all-conference and was unable to attend.
Saturday, 3 boys and 2 girls from Rising Sun ran in the IHSAA Cross Country Regional at Greensburg. Congratulations to Kinzie Scott as she placed 13th at the Regional and moves onto the IHSAA CC Semi-state. The semi-state is at Carmel this Saturday, Oct. 26. The Rising Sun Lady Shiner volleyball team started slow but pulled out a 25-23 game 1 win over ORVC rival, Jac-Cen-Del tonight at RSHS gymnasium. The Rising Sun Boys and Girls Cross Country teams ran in the IHSAA Sectional at South Dearborn on Tuesday. Rising Sun boys placed 7th overall with top five teams advancing to Regionals.
