Shiner JV Defeats Switz. Co.

Friday evening the Shiner JV racked up another win with a 9-4 victory over Switzerland Co.  Claire Poling got the win.  Emily Kendrick and Tiffany Vinup each had 2 hits.  One of Vinup’s hits was a HR to center.  Other hits were added byJacqueline Stapleton, Katie Jackson, Macy Elliott, Baylie Hunter, and Kelsey Romans.

Golfers Duplicate Score From Saturday

The Shiner golfers defeated Southwestern and South Ripley in a triangular match at Spring Hills GC in Hanover. Team scores were: Rising Sun 159, Southwestern 171, South Ripley 225. Austin Armstrong was medalist with a 1 over par 36. Other Shiner scores were Bryce Murray and Aron Walker 40, Brady Murray 43, and Jordan King


Last Thursday, May 8th, Rising Sun hosted the 50th Rising Sun Invitation. The Rising Sun Boy’s track team finished 1st and the Rising Sun Girl’s finished 4th.
