C Congratulations to Mackenzie Scott finishing 9th out of 16 girls in the 1600m run. Also, Whitney Chipman finished in 7th place in shot put and 8th place in discus. Her discus throw of 112-01 is a new school record.

Regular Season Comes to a Close

On Sat. the Shiners traveled to Mt. Vernon High School (Fortville)  to play in a tournament to prep for the post season.  They benefitted from  oustanding pitching and played error free defense, but came away with a pair of 2-0 losses.  read the story at:

Golfers Successfully Defend Conference Title

Martin wins Sectional in High Jump and 110m Hurdles

Congratulations to Austin Martin on winning the East Central Boys Track Sectional in the High Jump and 110m Hurdles, and also advancing in the 300m Hurdles. In an exciting seventh inning, Cody Weaver struck out the final hitter with the bases loaded to give the Shiners the win 8-7 Monday night in SR. Golfers Put Team First in South Ripley Inv. Win

The Shiners used a dose of balanced scores to outdistance themselves from Jac-Cen-Del, Milan, and South Ripley in winning the South Ripley/Milan Invitational. Kurtis Armstrong and Jordan King both shot 40 to lead the team. Austin Armstrong and Aron Walker both shot 42, and Bryce Murray shot a 44 to round out the Shiner scores.
