Rising Sun Boys Soccer players, Jake Uhlmansiek and Shane Chase, were honored at the ORVC Fall Awards Banquet in Madison on Mon., Oct. 28th. Tyler Roberts was also ORVC all-conference and was unable to attend.

RS Volleyball honored at ORVC Banquet

Rising Sun Girls Volleyball players, Haley Presley, Alix DeDreu, Tiffany Vinup and Bailee Bostic, were honored at the ORVC Fall Awards Banquet in Madison on Mon., OCtober 28th. Rising Sun volleyball also received the ORVC Co-Champion trophy and Head Coach, Lindsey Merica received the Co-Coach of the Year Award.

Rising Sun’s Scott moves on to CC Semi-State

Saturday, 3 boys and 2 girls from Rising Sun ran in the IHSAA Cross Country Regional at Greensburg. Congratulations to Kinzie Scott as she placed 13th at the Regional and moves onto the IHSAA CC Semi-state. The semi-state is at Carmel this Saturday, Oct. 26. RS Lady Shiners- ORVC Volleyball Co-Champs!!

The Rising Sun Lady Shiner volleyball team started slow but pulled out a 25-23 game 1 win over ORVC rival, Jac-Cen-Del tonight at RSHS gymnasium.
