Shiners News · Change to Spectators at Winter Sports

SHINER FANS:

With Governor Holcomb releasing new guidelines last week, we have updated our spectator guidelines at indoor events. The changes are underlined.

This is a reminder that the attendance restrictions will be based on the state COVID level map. Face coverings will be strictly enforced for our community’s safety and well-being at all Rising Sun Ohio County School Corporation events.

Below are the spectator guidelines for RSHS:

  • RED
    • 2 tickets per participating student and coaches
  • ORANGE
    • 3 tickets per participating student and coaches
  • YELLOW
    • 4 tickets per participating student and coaches
  • BLUE
    • 2 tickets per participating student and coaches
    • Tickets sold at the gate

The following are the spectator guidelines at OCEMS:

  • RED
    • 2 tickets per participating student and coaches
  • ORANGE
    • 2 tickets per participating student and coaches
  • YELLOW
    • 3 tickets per participating student and coaches
  • BLUE
    • 2 tickets per participating student and coaches
    • Tickets sold at the gate

Face Coverings are MANDATORY unless eating or drinking. The following are steps we will take to ensure face coverings are worn:

  1. Stop play and make a warning announcement regarding face coverings.
  2. Individuals will be asked to leave–if you are asked to leave, you are not permitted at home events for the remainder of the season.
  3. Stop play and clear the gym.

Attendance restrictions will vary by each school that we visit. We will update you with this information as quickly as we can.

Rising Sun Ohio County School Corporation appreciates your continued support.

GO SHINERS!
