Shiner fans–This story is full of information regarding summer sports. This information includes guidelines for participation and the July practice calendar. If you have any questions regarding this information, email Abby Friend at afriend@risingsun.k12.in.us.

Below you will find the guidelines for students to voluntarily participate in summer sports. These guidelines were agreed upon by the ORVC and align with the IDOE and IHSAA guidelines.

ORVC Summer Guidelines

  • Students must turn in an IHSAA Health History Update form and the ORVC Assurance Form. IF you answer YES to any of the questions on the IHSAA Health History form, you will have to get another physical. These forms are due before athletes can participate on July 6th. Athletes can turn them on July 1st from 9:00-12:00 at the high school office or at the first scheduled practice. You should have received the documents in the mail, if you did not links are provided below.
