The Shiner JV got off to another slow start against South Decatur on Saturday night trailing 19 to 7 after the 1st quarter.  However the Shiners picked it up after that outscoring the Cougars by 1 the rest of the way but it was not enough to get the win.  The Cougars were paced by Junior Dominic Walters and Evan Wullenweber with 14 points each. The Shiners were led by Sophomores Chris Bowne, 9 points, and Kolten Smith with 7 points.  Freshman Jordan Parsons ignited the Shiners off the bench with a great defensive effort and scoring 6 points all in the 4th quarter.  The Shiners return to action Friday night at home as the take on rival Switzerland County at 6pm.
