The Shiner boys basketball team picked up their first win of the season in convincing fashion Saturday night as they defeated the host South Decatur Cougars 85-43. Rising Sun then scored 34 points in the 3rd quarter to extend the lead to 77-37. Noah Pflum led a balanced scoring attack with a game high 18 points, followed by Jake Bovard and Trenton Gridley with 16, Jason McClellan 12, Brent Turner 11, Nick Koons 8, and Jake Powell and Wesley Rider 2.
